Version 2.0.2-1ubuntu0 also fix the bug for me.
I recently changed the BIOS version and made a clean install of Feisty
7.04, so I'll attach the log files before and after the fix. First, here
is the xorg.conf, which remains the same before and after the fix.

I've got similar problems with the media player control keys on a HP Pavilion
dv9074.
I've reported bug # 91396, that partly might be a duplicate of this one, I
realize.
The keycodes seem to the same on the dv9074 as the dv4000.
