Tested this with Precise Pangolin and the problem persists. Out of
curiosity I ran the same code on Windows XP with MS .NET 3.5 and got the

fully updated lucid installation. Could you try this again after
updating and confirm whether or not it is still an issue.

It looks like the indicator-applet-session item on the panel consists of
2 items: 1 for chat accounts and 1 for the session.

I can reproduce this problem in 2 ways with the following steps:
Method A
1.Create a new spreadsheet (By default the cell A1 will be selected)
2.Place the mouse over cell A1
3.Left mouse click and drag the mouse down so that both cells A1 and A2 are
selected
4.Release the left mouse
