I have the Audigy SE [SB0570]: CA0106 and can't uncheck anything in
gamix, and while gnome-alsamixer clearly shows a checked IEC958 there's
no way o unchecking that box. : (

I have an HP 2510p in which the SD reader worked perfectly in Intrepid

SD cards through an external (USB-plugged) reader, such as through an
external HD equipped with one, the card will show and everything, if
not, then it won
I don't know if this is the same, or a different bug, but it's worth
commenting before posting another report: using Karmic an iPod (this has

We're talking about mixing components of DEs here, so a prolem arises.
One can keep killing Nautilus, and also not let it start with the

Nautilus is going to start, and the problem will keep recurring. I've

I get the same error in Kubuntu Jaunty, actually am staring at it right
now. Just linking them up, someone in the answers section asked about
this, https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/72024, and I put a
link back to here.

Same issue here; I have a Kodak DX6490; more info: I can run "gtkam",
which I've chosen this model camera inside, but then when the program
(after selecting the appropriate directory on it) begins listing the
pictures, it crashes.

I confirm for Xubuntu Jaunty. So, is this still a simple problem? If so,
why isn't a fix released? Isn't that what these trackers are for. : (
Anyway, to those posting the Greek above, what's a manual way to fix for
a lay person? How 'bout a tutorial for us idiots, and then I can link to
it from a
I also get a slowing, crawling, system related to update-apt-xapi

I can confirm this bug on Intrepid while running KDE (not Gnome!).
What's even more annoying is that I cannot find the item in the System
Monitor to kill it.

This bug should be re-labelled as it also continues into intrepid, also
using the 1.3.5, though it appears the repositories contain the beta;
despite that, this bug is reproducible on Windows, on Debian, and on
K/ubuntu; however it appears what exactly it is, is unknown; my "Get

I would also call this a bug, as otherwise gDocs never truly becomes a
standalone web/desktop app; people actually like having them separate
from their browswers so things like crashing of one tab interrupt work
and such.

I would just like to report that I get this same problem: I connect to

I can confirm too...it's interesting that this is assigned to low
