This is still not working properly with the latest updates on 11.04
(which has solved a lot of other empathy bugs).

Would be really nice if this gets fixed as this is currently the only issue I
have left with empathy since I started using it in 10.10.

This is working for me in 11.04. It does have the annoying habit of
sometimes just forgetting about applying the picture, but if I manually
reapply it works and same goes when it "remembers" to apply it at login.
