that it needs.
Without asoundconf-gtk, I cannot set the default ALSA device, and that
causes me a lot of trouble.

I cannot burn dual-layer DVD's if the data to be burned requires the
second DVD layer.
I can build the cdrtools-3.00 as suggested by Schilly, and burn the
DVD's just fine with the same data and hardware.
