I'd like to post an update. I upgrade from 7.10 to 8.04. Wireless worked from kernel 2.6.24-12 up to -15, but not -16. I decided to do a clean install when the hardy final release came out. The wireless on a clean install, using kernel 2.6.24-16-generic, works well. So, it would seem that this bug
