The bug is also present in Moblin 2.1. Could be that the ISO that I
downloaded from moblin.org is the same as the ubuntu version with
moblin-interface, I don't know.

Bug confirmed. Like Frank Roberts, I could not install karmic on my
Akoya mini E1210 with USB-stick or USB-CD-drive. Only way to install was
to use wubi. Latest succesfull normal install was with karmic-alpha.

After installing a fresh karmic-beta1 Suspend/resume failed like before.
When booted from harddrive, the laptop goes into suspend, but does not
resume correctly. Pressing the power-button initiates the resume proces,
but it fails at some point, so I have to hard-reset the laptop. So the
last testre
I ran the test again on karmic-beta1 which I installed on my harddrive.
Now something completely different happened!
The machine did NOT suspend anymore! The screen went black for less than a sec
and then got back, but scrambled. At the sixth test (Power consumption test
during 20 minutes of su

When I boot my Akoya mini with Jaunty from an USB-stick, suspend/resume works!
And like MichaelE, it only resumes by pressing the power button.
Drive-info: I run a dual-boot system with Windows XP and Ubuntu. It boots with
the winxp-boot, and I added ubuntu to the xp-boot-menu using bootpart. So

I just updated the BIOS from version 1.06 to 1.0A, hoping that might
solve some issues. It did not solve anything. The suspend-problem
remains exactly the same.

If I press the power button after 20 secs of suspend, it wakes up, but
the screen remains black. Nothing works. Only thing I can do is a hard
reset by pressing and holding the power button for a few secs.
