I'm a novice at ubuntu. When one clicks on a crash report in the top panel,
one is told that it would be helpful to file a report and when you click on
yes, the computer does everything. This may be why you are still getting

I think the overnight download of the ubuntu 10 upgrade got corrupted,
or a virus on my ubuntu 9 refused to allow it to upgrade, I'm just
guessing.

I found a crash report when I went to turn off my son's computer. I
think I suspended it and then later he restarted it and put in my
password and I was unaware of any crash until I went to turn off the
computer later that evening. Sorry.

the descrepancy between the size posted on the drive itself and the
reported size but I thought I was misinterpreting the HD label or that
there was high overhead.

It affected my old emachine that has a replaced drive that was running
