Migrations are tested in sequence, and skipping several generations of
MAAS releases may not work, even though we take steps to make sure that
the migration process is smooth and painless. The original issue relates

@Mitchel we were also looking for a system where we could test it when
analysing the MAAS part of the fix, as we don't have such setup in our
lab. Alexsander might remember which system we used, but since the issue
is present on PS6 systems, perhaps colleagues from Managed Solutions or
IS can help
@Mitchell AFAIK this is still a field-high issue, which affects
deployments of our own ProdStack. The workaround breaks automation,
which means that it is sufferable only at small scales of deployment.
