the crash happened when I booted from USB to see if Vivid works on my
machine. The USB stick has since been repurposed, but if it helps I can
try to recreate it and see if the problem can be reproduced. Which image
should I use - the one I originally had the problem with or the current

I installed the latest upstream kernel ( linux-
image-3.14.0-031400-generic_3.14.0-031400.201403310035_amd64.deb ) as
suggested in comment #22. Using this kernel the current state is:
- Bluetooth is on
- Wireless keyboard is working

I'm running 14.04 final beta on a Thinkpad T430. Currently I'm trying to
connect my Apple Wireless Keyboard via bluetooth when the Kernel oops
occured.
Right now I get mixed results when trying to pair the keyboard. Most of
the times pairing fails while I try to enter the PIN
For me neither "minimize/restore" nor "unfocus/refocus" makes the menu
reappear in Impress. My workaround is to open Impress first and the use
the File->open dialog to open my document.

I worked around the problem by switching to the fglrx driver as
mentioned in the comment above (

Got feedback in the error report upstream, that for newer chips a new
tool called "avivotool" is to be used. It is located in the package
radeontools.

I'm having this problem with a fresh install of Kubuntu Jaunty, using either
the radeon or the fglrx driver.
Hardware:
- Asus M2A-VM motherboard
- Sapphire Radeon HD 4670 graphics card installed
- DELL E248 WFP LCD display (24'', 1920 x 1200 native)

Ok, I tried the installation on the same machine with eft rc1. The
installation itself ran without a problem, so I guess you can close this
bug. If you really want to dig into this for long term support, please
drop me a note and I'll re-install with the dapper drake cd.
