Public bug reported:
My laptop repeatedly kernel panics after a botched "return from suspend"
in my Samsung 900X laptop using (K)ubuntu 16.04.
Booting into 4.2.0-38-generic kernel seems to work fine.
Up until this point 4.2 and four different 4.4 kernels functioned
properly 90% of the time. Even
After upgrading both BIOS and latest stable Kernel in Ubuntu, I can't
reproduce this issue anymore.

I have seen that there is an updated stable kernel available from Software
Update so I will download it and test again.
If that does not work I will update my BIOS drivers.
I'll let you know in a couple of days.

As I am currently experiencing this issue on my main home server, I feel it's
too risky for me to try on a mainline kernel. If I screw up and it does not
boot, I'm in trouble :(
I could wait for this kernel to come to stable updates and update the bug then.

Public bug reported:
Lately, and I don't know if it's related to recent kernel update, I
notice that my keyboard becomes 'slow' after resume. By 'slow' I mean
that the keys do not respond well at all. Almost like it takes more time
for OS to respond to the event. It makes it almost impossible to t

I'm using Firefox 3.5.2 and Ubuntu Jaunty and I have this problem as

I don't think it is related to firefox but more the window manager since
the problem "disappears" when you uncheck "Select windows when mouse

I've recently found an easy way you crash compiz while using scale.
While on Workspace 1.
Hit F3 (my keyboard shortcut to activate Scale). All the windows show up the
way they are supposed to.
Now hit Super+2 (my keyboard shortcut to move to Workspace 2).
Expected results:
- Scales goes away
I am using Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04 and noticing this problem.
So far, the easiest fix I found was to run metacity --replace on the server
machine.
This kills the compiz window manager and replaces it with metacity which
enables vnc clients to run fine.
I am able to notice the changes at runtime, so

I don't know if this is related to this bug but I have also a problem
when rotating the cube.
I am running Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope 9.04 with compiz 0.8.2.
The plugins leading to problems are: Scale along with Desktop Cube /
Rotate Cube.
To simply reproduce the bug I do:
