Ok, I have checked the new debian packages in sid, and they don't build
graphviz with gtk/cairo enabled. I have found a similar bug request on
debian bugzilla:

I confirm that gnome-subtitles will not be able to show a video. This
annoying bug has been fixed in the version 0.7.1 so it would be really
nice to have a package freeze exception and upgrade gnome-subtitles to
version 0.7.1 or 0.7.2!

I have the same bug too, it is prettry much annoying. It seems to come
from the text encoding.
For me, installing the following package resolve the issue:
libmono-i18n2.0-cil
It should be added to the package dependencies, since it's impossible to
create or load subtitles without it!

Just to confirm that I had the bug (see attached syslog), I recompiled
the network-manager package with Emanuel Steen debdiff, and it solves
the problem for me too (Dell Lattitude D830, Broadcom b43 wireless card)

Given what I have read until here, this problem seem to come from people
using a 1920x1200 resolution (I am also using this resolution).

I have the same bug and it's really annoying. It seems to come from
proprietary nvidia drivers. Switching to nv driver fix the issue.

Ok I can confirm this bug with the latest Hardy and Firefox 3 beta 3. It
