is a bug or just xserver-xorg missing from the distro. Sorry to have

If I had used the wrong case, dear;- I would have received no out put.
I started in recovery mode and droped to the root shell yet again, as
this is my only method of communication with Ubuntu, and entered the
System etc suggested which prompted the response comand system not
recognised.

It looks to me as though Ubuntu is asking for a screen resolution not
supported by my Nvidia quadro fx 3450/4000 sdi video card. Is it
possible to change the configuration so that a resolution within the
cards remit is requested, in the root shell offered on safe boot? Do I
perhaps need to download
#x27;type' kind of command might be needed but the file will be to
large to type out here, is there something I can look for in it or a copy
paste trick between the ubuntu shell prompt and Outlook?

I havent got to a package yet

What happend was:-
On first reboot after installation, all I get is a black screen with the
text "unable to display screen mode, optimum reselution 1280x1024 60Hz".
