This happens to me all the time, the fix for me is to kill firefox and
restart it. It doesn't seem to be anything to do with the site or page.
I can fail on a pic, kill firefox, start it and let it use crash
recovery to open all the pages it had open before, then save the same
picture it failed on
I'm running 2.6.35-22.33 and still have the problem. I wonder what BIOS
versions the working/non working lab machines have. Mine is A05 at the
moment.

Standard SCIM. Assuming I did everything right it still does it with

I installed ibus, chewing, and the gtk/qt parts, started the daemon and

This is a Dell Studio 15xx series notebook. Just tried with a USB
external keyboard and that works fine. When hitting 2 keys at once both
keys are reported on screen, and no sticking.

I'm having the same problem with jaunty with a HD 3200, X starts black.
I've made sure all possible traces of fglrx are removed, and also purged
and re-installed xserver core, any ati/radeon drivers, and libgl1 mesa
and dri.
radeonhd driver works, but is god-awful slow.

That's kind of unfair, I don't think anyone can call any operating system, or
any software these days "finished" in the sense that it's bug free.
I do find some bugs like this annoying because they tend to be brushed aside
because kubuntu has a vision of making their own way of doing things and
I'm not sure if it's network-manager or wpa_supplicant's fault, but it
seems that it IS telling ath0 to associate with the network but no
network key is ever set. if you iwconfig while it's trying to associate
you'll see it set to the correct ssid, but enc remains empty.

NetworkManager: Old device 'ath0' activati
I have a feeling this problem is what was causing my vmnet interfaces to
not initialize correctly as well. I ended up having to add definitions
in interfaces for my vmnet1 and vmnet8 or they came up w/o IP
configured, as well in kdenetworkmanager they showed up in the list of
configurable devices w
yes, I've found that it works on first run, ie when kded first starts.
Or if you killall -9 kded and restart kded it will mount them correctly,
but after kded is already running and you plug in a device with 'mount
automatically' selected it goes into 100% cpu condition.

shouldn't be a perms issue.

The error described in this bug happens now with hardy, if you have the
ati and fglrx drivers both installed. But it's invalid anyway due to it
being an ATI issue.
