I'm not sure why, but spice-xpi built on one distro doesn't work on
another. It's distributed as a package on Fedora, and as far as I can
tell, this is the only xpi offered in the Fedora repos.

I just hit an important difference between the two packages. python-
django-openid-auth gives me a "CSRF token missing or incorrect" error,
and python-django-auth-openid doesn't give me the error.
Maybe the former package lacks the csrf_token tag in its template?

I've been experiencing this issue on maverick since I started running it
during the alpha stage, and I just recreated the issue from a live usb
instance of the maverick RC. Here's what I just did with the RC instance
to recreate:
1. Install flashplu
No go for me on lucid 64-bit. Well, Firefox didn't lock up, but Java
didn't work, either.
Here's what I did:
I visit http://java.com/en/download/installed.jsp, click Verifiy Java
version, the animation circles for a bit, then goes to a page that says:
"Sorry! We couldn't find the document request
I was having trouble accessing any update repos through eclipse, either
with the lucid eclipse package, the eclipse tarball from the project's
site, or with aptana studio 2.0 on my lucid 64-bit machines.
I was getting the error:

I had this same problem on Karmic UNR, and installing vino and vinagre
solved it for me. Maybe those come standard on Ubuntu desktop. Perhaps
those should be "recommended" or something by the empathy client.

I'm having the same issue as mannheim, with 64-bit karmic and Adobe Air.
Air installs, complains about the gio libs, and Tweetdeck won't work.
All the symlinks and libs that mannheim mentions are in place on my
system as well.
