I cannot build the XRT driver through DKMS during the apt installation
of xrt-xocl-dkms (see apt.log). You will notice that this log references
another log file in /var/lib/dkms/xrt/2.7.0. However, no such directory

This bug is still present on Ubuntu 19.10. I recently encountered it. It
seems to be related to 16 bit output files, switching to 8 bit results
in correctly scanned documents.
