Looks like I spoke too early. Indeed it seems to happen less often, but
after a recent reboot, the card was down again, with no chance to revive
it. So it seems like a hit and miss whether it works after a boot.

I cannot confirm this. Even after enabling the testing repos and
updating the apt cache, I still get dependency conflicts.

After upgrading to 2.6.31-17, WLAN connections via the iwlagn chipset/driver
don't work anymore. The wlan card is still detected, but no APs are detected
anymore.

drag'n'drop of monitor positions, and the ability to save monitor
schemes, that you can later load from .bashrc or .profile.
