I was experiencing crashing of FileZilla with the oxygen-gtk theme in
Kubuntu 12.04. Bug #987410 outlined a few temporary workarounds.
Updating gtk2-engines-oxygen from precise-proposed fixed the problem
permanently, and I can revert to using the oxygen-gtk theme. I have no
problems with the updat
I can confirm that silenx's workaround works for me.
"System Settings" -> "Application Appearance" -> "GTK+ Appearance" -> "Widget
style"
pick one of "Raleigh" or "Oxygen-Molecule"
The former looks out-of-place, while the latter requires you to install
the package "oxygen-molecule" from the univ

Fresh install of Kubuntu 12.04 (release candidate).
Steps to reproduce:
1. Install and open FileZilla (I installed through the package manager)
2. Open the site manager
3. Click "Ok"
4. Window disappears

I had a problem choosing my timezone on Ubuntu 8.04 during install, but
the problem is of a slightly different nature.
My timezone is Canada/Edmonton. When I move my mouse over Canada, the map zooms
