Deleting /usr/lib/python3.3/sitecustomize.py worked around this for me.
Is there a reason why this workaround can't be included in the package
itself?

1. Open the Sound settings dialog
2. Choose the Sound Effects tab
3. Select 'Default'
4. Select 'Bark' (or any option other than 'Default')
You will hear the default sound and the bark sound simultaneously.
This bug is still present in Ubuntu 12.04 Alpha 2.

In Ocelot beta 2, it seems that one of the transitive dependencies of
openjdk-7-jdk is causing openjdk-6 to be installed, too. Also, Java 6
is set as the default, not Java 7.
