I also have this issue, its pretty annoying. I know that it might take a
while to get the size if the folder has large contents, however this
feature is present in Nautilus and should be in Thunar.

Same problem with me, perhaps changing to a Gutsy kernel will do the trick.
More hastle than I want right now, I'll stick with my desktop for the time
being and fingers crossed for an update soon!

I still seem to have this problem with Gutsy Gibbon (Kubuntu 7.10
AMD64). If you search for the option in KControl it says that a match is
found, however as stated above, you cannot click any of the icons. I
want to access the option because KDE's bouncing icons are starting to
drive me nuts!
