For anyone in this situation I found it reasonably easy to install the
mainline 6.1 series kernel which is still supported and works with
nvidia drivers. It's a little annoying to automate updates and to remove
the standard kernels so that grub automatically boots into the older
mainline driver, bu
Just to say, the liquorix fix is no longer a great solution as it now
has moved to the 6.10 kernel series which doesn't seem to be compatible
with nvidia drivers (at least, the 470 driver I need). It would be
really great to have this issue fixed! The recently released 6.8.0-40.40
kernel doesn't ch

I just wanted to add that following a little testing I think it's very
likely that this problem is due to the kernel. Running on the default
6.8.0-38 kernel has the issue, and so does the 6.8.0-40 kernel that at
the time of writing is "proposed".

I have a fresh install of Kubuntu 24.04 and I am having problems
resuming from sleep. Here is the output of 'lsb_release -rd'.
