I have recently been getting video files with "#" in the name, like
"Video #1.mp4" with an accompanying srt file "Video #1.srt". I can open
the srt file fine, but when it tries loading the video file, I get an
error in a dialog box:
Could not play the file /home/user/Video .
Whenever a new song is played in a playlist in the Gnome version, it
spits out some errors on the console when it crackles:
(timidity:27280): Gtk-WARNING **: Invalid text buffer iterator: either the
iterator is uninitialized, or the characters/pixbufs/widgets in the buffer have
been modified sin

When I "Open Directory" from the "Media" menu, there is no sound until I
go to "Tools" "Preferences" "Audio" and click the "Save" button. I
don't even have to change the "Output Module", though it sometimes
doesn't work unless I do.

I've tried this with Samba 3.x from Ubuntu 5.xx on and I get the same
result.
It's done this consistently through all the versions that I've tried.

When I try to mount a a smb share from an embedded smb server from a
CompUSA 333060 (aka InnoTide NU100 - OEM, Clarinet Systems EB-214A,
MultiCo EW-214A), smbclient segfaults. This embedded device runs 2.4.20
with samba 1.9.16p11.
