I'm using wxGlade quite heavily, but there is some problems with it,
because the actual version (0.6.3) is very old: 2008-03-30.

I'm able to reproduce the problem with "Ubuntu 9.10 32 bits" (Linux
2.6.31) and "Linux Mint 7" (Linux 2.6.28)
On Win 7 the device is correctly recognized and works well.
