packages running nfs+kerberos+sssd and there is no idmap service and all

To clarify, the problem is that the "sheets tabs" are hidden. It is
still possible to navigate them by double-clicking the "Feuilles 1/7"
text but it is not obvious. Resizing the sheets tab area manually
resolves the problem temporarily (once you know you can do that) but

The problem seems to be solved now. I got a message from another program
telling me to run sudo apt-get update followed by sudo apt-get install
-f. This has fixed it. But since the update manager is supposed to be
doing basically the same as these commands, I don't quite understand why
that applica

The issue described in that link does not appear to be the same problem I have.
I do not have the file "snd-hda-intel.ko.REPLACEDBYhsfmodem" that they
reference, and I can get sound from the headphone jack, just not the main
speakers.

[Regression][Inspiron 1420] Audio doesn't work
I upgraded my Dell Inspiron 1420 from Gutsy to Hardy today, and am
experiencing the bug described here. I'm not getting any sound from the
speakers, but one of the headphone jacks does work. Everything in
alsamixer is unmuted and turned up.
