To my great confusion, after a system update on May 17th (no kernel update
included), I cannot reproduce the bug on my Eeepc with Lucid 10.04.
Progress bars show up at each big file transfer...OK.

More hints :
- SDcard and usb peripherals were FAT32 formatted
- after an apparently successful "big" file transfer, if you try to disconnect
the peripheral, you get a message to wait till the end of the data transfer
then after some time you get a second message saying that you cannot
disconne
