In Hardy Scilab help browser does not start. After choosing "help
browser" from "help menu" a progress bar "parsing help files" appears

When desktop effects are turned off scilab graphic window appears at the
upper-left corner of the screen, but when desktop effects are turned on

I've moved or cleaned all directories, containing lots of files (building
packages - more than 300 Mb of small source files) and the bug disappeared.
I'll try to reproduce it creating a directory full of small files.
