After upgrading from 17.04 I had this issue. Neither could I connect to
an external audio device via Bluetooth.
I started pulseaudio in verbose mode (-vvv) and found that the module
"module-switch-on-connect" is already loaded when it is tried to load
again. I commented out the following lines in

I have the same issue on Kubuntu 10.10 on i386. First on after an
upgrade from 10.04, now on a fresh install. In my case the freeze does
not occur immediately after initiating data transfer, and is independent
from the network usage (it happened while downoading and while working
with remote ssh se
