I have located the root cause of this issue, having compiled recently
the qt-console for bacula, but I'm not certain the bug is one that
belongs to this particular package.
I experienced the exact same error as Chris Howells. I noted in his
original post that he said that he was missing libqwt.so,
I experienced the same issue.
I decided to investigate, and found that the IP address was in the right
subnet, the DNS servers were correct, so I investigated the route and
found this:
