For those that can no longer run autoremove (like me, above), and don't
like messing around int he /boot drive without someone else giving them
reassurance, here's what I did:

REALLY disappointed in Canonical and Ubuntu. Why isn't a bug like this
the very top priority of Canonical's development team and the open
source community? The bug potentially affects all users and prevents

update-initramfs should produce a more helpful error when there isn't
Like #86, but for me it took 3 weeks. Depends on number of kernel
patches released after initial install. The OS should `sudo apt-get
autoclean` instead of crash. Fine to "notify" user of the inadequate
default boot partition size, but definitely not OK to scare them with a
"Crash" notice every tim
Also affects me on Empathy in Fedora 19. So more general fix should
include accept/deny always/just-once in security settings option in
Empathy itself, rather than gnome/kde.

All `sudo mysqld` gives is:

After trying Jurgen's fix:
sudo apparmor_parser -R /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.mysqld
sudo ln -s /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.mysqld
/etc/apparmor.d/disable/usr.sbin.mysqld
sudo service mysql start

It seems like ack's comment points the finger at the help() function
within ipython. Has anyone tried to modify it so it doesn't
simultaneously load modules with static and dynamic links to _gtk? Or
is the problem in _gtk that it can't handle the simultaneous static and

I had to do a grep on my LAN gateway/proxy IP or a bit of the URL it uses
for login. That turned up the corrupted entries for me. My local gateway is
10.10.0.1 so:
sudo grep -ri '10.10.' /var/lib/apt/lists

I have the same problem in both users-admin and gdmsetup, though my
problem may not be related to this bug. I accidentally deleted my
primary user's admin privildges and had to add them back using gpasswd
in a recovery session. This is when the problem started. I also lost all
notification area app
