Same with me. Using Lucid with 3.6.17 FF. Google site showing a black
border rectangle around the logo. Zooming it makes the lines disappear.

Any fix to this problem yet? This happens to frequently to me (running
Jaunty) and it's kinda driving me nuts, and the irony is I have been
trying to promote more use of Ubuntu and its apps to my clients and one
of the most basic function/app is not working consistently. Anything
that I can help
The most important thing to make it work is actually the specification
of starting directory (e.g., ~ or ~/Documents) to be opened when
Nautilus is run, not the use of --browser as mentioned by dzlatkov
