nofloppy did not work for me, I can confirm this bug on daily build
13.10.2007. I worked around this by disabling the floppy in bios

steps to reproduce:
1. Make network manager start on login, if you connect to a wep enabled AP a
dialogue box asking for the keychain password pops up.
2. enable desktop effects
3. log out
4. log in, the dialogue box appears then disappears. but it's still there...

I did not have any partitions linux or non-linux on my HD. in other
words, the bug happens with the disk completely empty of data and
partitions.
