For me works compiling nautilus after fresh install of Ubuntu 13.10
(with Gnome 3.8)
sudo apt-get build-dep nautilus && sudo apt-get install tracker-sparql-0.16
mkdir nautilustemp
cd nautilustemp
apt-get source --download-only nautilus
tar xvf *.tar.xz
cd nautilus*
./configure --prefix=/usr --enab
