I had a new crash that seems to be similar. However this time evolution-
exchange-storage crashed and not evolution itself. It crashed without
any input from me, so it was probably a periodic refresh or something.

Pedro, my evolution-exchange is crashing quite often. I don't have time
to find out whether the backtraces point to the same problem or not at
work. I could send backtraces to the bug report without checking if the
exact same problem, or mail them to anybody who wants to categorize
them.

Martin: I should only update the xserver-xorg-input-vmmouse package from

With the package from intrepid-proposed, I got this error:

In my opinion, this fix should not be sent out until bug 248521 is
fixed. It's marked as fixed now (after 1:12.5.1-1ubuntu5 was pushed
out), but several comments and my own observations shows that it's not
fixed.
It's better that vmware users get the mouse driver (which kind of works)
than that HA

Same as Richard here: Updating libc6 to 2.6.1-1ubuntu10 broke stuff,
doing sudo aptitude reinstall libc6 fixed it.
I do have one extra piece of info, though: I used to get memory
corruption on my feisty installation before, which I got rid of by
removing powernowd and any CPU core frequency changi
