I have added myself to the affected users. I just wanted to elaborate:
Maybe I don't fully agree with everything the OP wrote above
("absolutely … not usable"), but I simply miss a proper SVN GUI. I am
not actually interested in any file browser integration at all, but I

What a pity that this bug survived yet another distribution upgrade,
despite the trivial fix & existing patch.
Even if not many people seem to use qct (with svn), this fix should be
shipped at last!

It also drives me crazy, and I hoped all the time that it would dissolve
with the update to 12.04 precise – but it did not.
For the meantime, I am using this to get rid of the "update available"
icons in the tray:
sudo perl -pi -e 's,(Replaces: libqwt5-qt4-dev \(<< 6.0.0)\),\1-),'
/var/lib/dpkg
BTW, AFAIK Steve Borho is nowadays busy maintaining TortoiseHg, which is
why he might not have prepared any qct releases.

Maybe attaching a patch makes this bug more likely to be fixed.
(Easy to test, too: try committing into *any* SVN repository using qct.)

What does "Fix Committed" mean? (I still have this problem, and it's one week
later now.)
I have no other pending updates; if this was fixed in dpkg, can we get an
update for oneiric?

I have no problem with Shift or Alt, but with Ctrl, everytime when I leave the
vmware player on natty (Kubuntu, no Unity or the like here).
(I am using the Neo keyboard layout, so I have no CapsLock key to test.)
Unfortunately, this bugreport seems to be a big mess:

This bug is rather old and fixed upstream, but still exists in Natty.

Lacking an upstream release, I would be very happy if someone integrated the

I had the same problem with a Lucid beta system.
I have no idea how the NM got disabled in the first place. Also I
wonder if KNetworkManager should have an option to (re-)enable NM if it
is found disabled?!
As you might have guessed, I have only just started to use
