Took your advise and went to FF Mazolla and found that I can't update
without it being sent from Linux. 3.0.11 coming soon. They suggested I
dump the Cache and reset the Zoom. BINGO back came the lines. So I would
say my problem is solved.

When you say Manually update I guess you mean go to Help and use "Check
for updates" This is greyed out also.

According to About Firefox I am using 3.0.10. When I go to UPDATES tab
the choice for Firefox is greyed out and even if I remove checks from
the checks from addon and search engines it still is not available. see
attached screen shot of preference tab

Here is a screen shot The borders are missing between the columns for Sunday
and Monday and alos Thursday and Friday.
Also the green and yellow strip are not positioning correctly, but that seems
to be another problem.

Using Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepet Ib.., Gnome.
When I received your email it had a link at bottom to the Launchpad bug. I am
attaching an image of the current one I got. None of the links in this or last
email work. They show up in the panel, but when I click on them nothing happens.

John, The only add-on I have is the default Thunderbird. Just used the
send button twice and it worked both times, but when I tried to use the
link in your email it did not work.

I get the video on evrything I tried, but no video has sound. Sound seems to
work evry other way I try it.
I am using Ubuntu 8.10 and Firefox 3.04. I usually use RealPlayer11. It worked
fine before updating to 8.10 and 3.04.
