Problem solved!
Apparently the problem came from Windows OS: impossible to fully replace
Windows by Ubuntu.
So I decided to go for a dual boot. I reinstalled Windows 7 on the Vaio. Then I
installed Ubuntu as a second OS. I resized the disk so as to attribute a
minimum of space to Windows (60Gb)
This is another error message

The version is Lubuntu 15.4. When I tried to upgrade this OS, a message
appeared saying "to old for upgrade. Install the version 15.10". So I will
