I tried to create a simple gui app with Glade interface designer
3.18.3-1 installed from Ubuntu software center on Xubuntu 16.04. After
running glade for a while I noticed the lag while moving the mouse
around. I opened System Monitor (see screenshots). Glade went from using

As the title says vlc freezes after pressing on hotkeys tab (which is
under preferences). With freezing I mean I was unable to click on
anything and after a while I got black screen. If I press
ctrl+alt+delete I am able to log out and log in again.
