I don't know if this may be helpful, but this issue appeared on my
machine after the last gnome-accessibility-themes package update.
Reverting back to the previous version fixed it.

I think this delay is due the dbus menu interface, in gnome shell we are
not using the global menu, so maybe the delay is related to this.

Since Ubuntu and Windows use different methods to manage the local time (and
thus interfering), every time windows is booted, after using ubuntu, U1 can't

Since Unity is currently on Oneric really buggy, I'm using Unity 2D and
noticed that the launcher's behaviour is a lot better here than the 3d
version.
I get very rarely false positives. When hitting the back button on

This happens on my desktop (nvidia proprietary driver and rss plugin for
evolution).
On my notebook (which has an intel and the rss plugin is not installed)
evolution works as espected...

The biggest problem is that if someone installs the torbutton package
from the official repository it will not work since firefox 3 is now the
default browser.
After the procedure, explained in my other comment, i had no problem
