If you remove exec permission of compiz.config the problem disappears.

You have to download some packages to compile the driver successfully.
Try "sudo apt-get install build-essential" after a "sudo apt-get update
&& sudo apt-get upgrade".

I had some problems with its speed. I tried to use another driver
version described in

and it's working like a charm! No connection drops, hangs or slowness.
