I experience this bug with alsa-base 1.0.22.1+dfsg-0ubuntu3 and linux-
backports-modules-alsa-lucid-generic (2.6.32-36). Removing linux-

Further to my comment #25, I was mistaken. The correct facts are:
acerhdf v0.5.22 does not include 1810T/v.1.3314
acerhdf v0.5.22 is included in maverick, both 2.6.35-30 and 2.6.35-28
Was working for me in 2.6.35-28 as I had manually downloaded v0.5.24 from
