Same problem this morning for me. Shows 6.0 MB will be downloaded, but
when I click on "Details of Updates" under "Install and Remove" there's
nothing there - just a blank white box. Today is the first time I've had

Thanks - I just installed it. This will at least allow me to view the
fonts correctly. I can use this in conjunction with Font Management in
the Plasma 5 settings to sort them.

I'm an artist and depend on KDE. I have a novice understanding of
computer science (took CS50). I have no clue how to apply this patch,
but just purchased a bulk of fonts and need to sort them. Would anyone

I resolved this. I came across a reference to a package available with
Ubuntu called ifupdown-extras. It adds a file in /etc/network/ called
routes. http://askubuntu.com/questions/168033/how-to-set-static-routes-

I added the package and edited my /etc/network/interfaces to
approach,
none worked.
And I agree, I would think there has got to be other people doing
similar stuff. I didn't think I was that bleeding edge.

Could not retrieve weather data. You may be experiencing connectivity
issues." It gives this error when I search for a location and when it
polls for new weather data.
I have env variables set for my proxy server, as well as
I'm also behind a proxy, and I'm finding AWN applets (python driven)
also fail because of this bug. This is reported as Bug #185206, and I
think updating Oneiric's python to include this fix would squash many
bugs with one shoe, so to speak.

Hi, I just upgraded from jaunty, and have the problem that I am not
being asked for the password during system startup, but am able to do
the neccessary steps by hand once the recovery console have started.

The i5 support seems to be a little behind, even on the latest from
Koala beta (which I went for having seen the same Phoronix article
explaining that the 2.6.31 Kernel was required for compatibility).

I'm running the 9.10 Kubuntu beta.
I had the same issue.
Added a HP Business Inkjet 1100d over the network using the KDE tool - all
worked fine. Printed a test page, worked great.
Tried to print from okular and nothing happened. Running okular from the
command line revealed "lpr: Bad job-

But I am not completely sure that mountall is really the problem, because at
first, the last thing I saw on the console were some errors about not being
able to mount my windows partition. I edited my fstab and added "noauto", now
