I have the same problem on Ubuntu 10.10.
Some discs are working, some not, it seams that discs with a lot of tracks (20
and more) are not shown, but this can be by mischance.
The discs where this happens are also not listet by MusicBrain, in this case i
have allways to restart soundjuicer not to
I can confirm this, i had the same issue, a few minutes ago, just trying
to copy an audio CD.

I can confirm this, i have the same scanner (N1240U/LIDE 30).
It was working fine on dapper and edgy but on feisty it will be detected but
not accessed.
