On every startup/login, network manager starts with networking disabled. When i
manually check "enable networking" all works as it did before upgrading to
Beta-1.
Problem
I am having the same issue. it is a laptop that is dual-booting XP.
Happened after the last update & upgrade just a few hours ago.

This happens with both the 64-bit and 32-bit versions as well.
How do I get an updated logfile? It is the only one I have on the
computer. I can't get a log of what happens on the live CD can I?

I would just like to chime in that I am having this same exact problem
on my HP dv6607nr laptop with the GeForce 7150M card using the Beta
release. Hope this can be resolved before final release! i have attached

Seriously, when working with a highly customizable system such as linux,
shouldn't we be able to tell any key on any keyboard to do anything we
want? If i want my spacebar to act as my F3 key, I should be able to do
that (not that I want to).
Anyway, thank you all for your help in this, hopefully
