I have the same problem. Dell Inspiron 9400 256 ATI Graphics card For me the issue seems to be from the FGLRX drivers. If I uninstall the ATI Propriety drivers then hibernate works perfectly!! I think this is a very important issue as most Windows users would be affected by this and will want it t
