For me, these are not related, because I'm not modifying the bridge
when the connectivity is lost. As long as there is steady network
trafic (for example a ping every minute), the connectivity is not
lost. As soon as I stop this, the connectivity will be lost within a
few hours.

I have the simpler model (without Touch, CTL 640), and it doesn't work
in Lucid either. Thats because you need the newest kernel module from
linuxwacom.sf.net If you install that (so just wacom.ko, nothing else)
it will work fine in Lucid.

I think the way to reproduce this is: install hardy in the VM, update the
kernel, see if it boots. This is basically what failed for me. Also, be sure to
use virtio for network and disk (as I did).
You can even try to run the old version from the ppa, to see if you can
reproduce my bug and than

The images are quite big (> 18gb), although they have a lot less
actual data, so I think it would be hard to share them with you,

After installing the update from #361938, one of my virtual machines appeared
to have a corrupt qcow2 image. Fsck just kept on fixing the same errors, so I

I still experience video tearing with the Intel drivers on Jaunty when
compiz is enabled. When I was using Intrepid, some guys said it was
fixed, but I still had the problem. Apparently the newest Intel drivers
didn't fix it either.

I have the same problem on my Macbook Core Duo (first generation).
I also tried to put a "fake compiz" script in my path which starts metacity.
However, this results in a system that doesn't load the desktop (but doesn't
hang either).
