I think this bug is affecting not only xchat, I have a similar behaviour
with radiotray and dropbox.
When dropbox or radiotray displays a notification, if i close it right

I installed from the repos omegat on ubuntu 12.04, when I run it I get
"Suitable java binary not found".
The solution is easy: in /usr/bin/omegat, the bash script tests java version
and check if it's openjdk or sun. Replace 'sun' by 'oracle' and it works (at
least here).

Still occurs in Ubuntu 11.04 with firefox 4.0.1.
I just did a fresh install of ubuntu 11.04, install my printer, set it to print
in A4 paper, but it still prints on Letter format...

Well, today's update..
I mean, I did this morning
sudo apt-get update
and then sudo apt-get upgrade
and now banshee works.
I suppose they did some changes in karmic repositories between monday and today
so now it works.
By the way, i'm using amd64 karmic version.
