Yes, I can confirm this bug.
But : "When I set OpenAL to off, the sound quality is always good." Isn't true
by me : the sound is better, that is true, but often the sound crashes, and
then no sound… and then, when I want to quit openarena, it crashes, and I have
to kill openarena in a TTY.

I haven't this bug now in karmic, because I have disabled OpenAl in the sound
menu. It doesn't make Openarena crash.
But with OpenAl actived, sound is very bad, there are "b".

The manager is just a graphical tool to see what the client is doing. Closing
the manager isn't supposed to stop the projects. If you want to stop boinc, try
