So, i don't know if it is strange or if it is a fix but today a simple:
sudo apt-get -f install
fixed the problem.

When i try to connect to a smb/cifs share, gigolo always adds port 21 to
the connect string and so the connection fails.
When i add a bookmark for the same connection port 21 is listed as used
port.
I use gigolo installed from the official repository in Ubuntu 19.10.
