[Bug 220975] [NEW] wrong font spacing

Public bug reported: Some text in some application like firefox or last.fm looks like in the attachment. As you can see some letters are too close. The horizontal space between letters isn't constant. I encounter the problem just after upgrade from 7.10 to 8.04. I'm using KDE. ** Affects: ubuntu
