I have something to report almost everyday via the system since eI'd
upgraded to 17.10, but I am not very much sure what they are. I submit
these problem/bug report in the hope that it will help the system/ OS

Hi
If panel prperties is selected to be in the Middle (on
Application, Place, System) and then one switches off.
Next time one starts in Ubuntu, this panel comes in
the middle.
I fix it by going to properties..
-->then selecting EXPAND
--> then again selecting MIDDLE

You didn't provide the logs,
